Our Financial Institutions division distributes home, landlord and motor insurance products via Banks, Credit Unions, Mortgage Broker Groups and Affinity Groups. We are proud to work in partnership with many of Australia’s leading financial institutions to maximise their insurance revenue and achieve long term, sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Financial Institutions team in NSW. As an Account Manager, you will develop and grow the insurance portfolio of our business partners in the Mortgage Broker industry. A key aspect of your role will be your ability to drive sales by working closely with our partners to develop and execute strategic initiatives.

You will be responsible for:

•    Developing and maintaining business plans and action plans to maximise sales opportunities
•    Building strong multi-tier relationships across our partners and their network
•    Establish clear strategic direction to build sustainable, profitable growth
•    Providing technical, general and non-advice insurance support
•    Working closely with key partners and their distribution networks to identify cross-sell opportunities and maximise sales outcomes
•    Identifying opportunities to build the company’s profile in the Mortgage Broker industry
•    Representing Allianz at key industry events
•    Retaining your existing portfolio of partners

To be considered for this role you will possess:

•    Experience in the Mortgage Broker industry
•    Knowledge of and experience in lending, home loans or general insurance
•    Proven experience in account management for large accounts
•    Strong relationship building skills
•    Ability to deliver quality customer service
•    Advanced MS Office skills including; Excel, PowerPoint and Word
