In-House Motor Vehicle Assessor

Then why not consider a role as a Motor Assessor, where you ‎will apply your technical and trade knowledge to ensure motor ‎vehicle repairs are conducted in an ‎appropriate manner.

As a key member of our Motor Assessing team you will be responsible for:

•    Ensuring motor vehicle repairs are conducted in a timely and professional manner and the cost of those repairs are fair and reasonable
•    Quoting damaged vehicles and applying your knowledge of the ‎Insurance Code ‎of Practice
•    Delivering quality outcomes, whilst ensuring that the interests of Allianz and the customer are considered
•    Provide assistance to the Assessing Manager in performance and development of the Assessing team where required
•    Tending to any internal or external escalations

Essential qualifications and experience required:

•    Current Trade Qualification licence within the motor vehicle repair industry
•    Previous experience in Motor Vehicle assessing/ Motor trade experience
•    Competent understanding of motor vehicle assessing principles
•    Current Drivers Licence
•    Experience in quoting damaged vehicles and knowledge ‎of the Insurance Code of Practice
•    Well developed PC skills,  Good ‎organisational & time management skills
•    Excellent customer service skills
•    Experience in repair shop management  / estimating experience (desirable but not essential)
•    Tertiary management / insurance qualifications (desirable but not essential)
•    Previous experience supervising or coaching colleagues.
