As a Cyber Security Analyst at Allianz Australia, you can.

Allianz Australia is looking for a talented Cyber Security Analyst to support the Cyber Security team in the continuous improvement of Allianz Australia's security posture; through the identification, resolution and management of security threats, vulnerabilities, non-compliances and risks within the Allianz environment, and by providing cyber security analytics and reporting that facilitates data driven decision-making.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Perform analysis and provide security recommendations across projects and/or business processes and influence key stakeholders to deliver necessary control enhancements
  • Manage the Penetration Testing program to meet project and ongoing assurance requirements
  • Assist with technical incident response for cyber security events and incidents, as well as assisting in co-ordinating business unit response and remediation
  • Work closely with the Cyber Protection & Resilience team and IT to gain insights into performance of the operating environment
  • Enable a data driven approach to decision-making through identification and analysis of large data sets from multiple sources, using analytics tools and techniques

Important to your success:

  • Work experience and knowledge of different application and infrastructure technologies, and security technologies - experience with business intelligence and analytics tools a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence
  • Data driven approach to decision-making.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
  • Customer focused and understand how cyber security contribute to customer trust
