Our underwritten SA CTP business provides claims services for. Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance. CTP provides cover for. personal injuries sustained in a motor. vehicle accident. Allianz employs specialist claims staff to manage these claims.

We are currently seeking a Team Manager (maternity leave contract till November 2020) to lead our team of claims consultants. You will be leading a team of Claims Consultants by mentoring and providing strategic direction on claims management issues.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the delivery of claims settlements and customer service in a timely and consistent manner
  • Managing and monitoring the progress of claims
  • Referral point and provision of technical expertise
  • Compliance and reporting activities
  • Facilitating training and development
  • Drive the team to meet/exceed internal KPI targets

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven people management experience
  • Sound understanding of relevant legislation and knowledge of CTP claims will be highly regarded but not essential
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • The ability to manage your time effectively and make quick decisions when needed
  • A positive and enthusiastic approach to customer service
