Allianz Insurance Australia is part of the Allianz Global Group operating in ‎‎every State and Territory in Australia, and is one of the leading Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurers.The New South Wales CTP business unit provides cover for personal injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, therefore responsible for delivering the Allianz experience to every claimant. 

We currently have an exceptional opportunity available for an experienced Case Reviewer in our New Scheme Claims within our NSW CTP division. Reporting to a Team Manager, you will be responsible for driving outcomes, ‎‎‎consulting, ‎coaching and training claims staff.  You will also provide regular ongoing instruction and ‎‎‎information on ‎current trends to other staff members, while continuing to maintain ‎‎and ‎develop your own ‎technical knowledge.‎ 

Key responsibilities in this role include: 

  • Building and maintaining key relationships and ensuring key benchmarks are met 
  • Providing regular and constructive feedback to the business on performance of Claims teams against associated key performance indicators and compliance standards 
  • High level understanding of liability and common law claims management 
  • Drive Return to Work and Return to Health outcomes 
  • Maintaining a customer focussed approach 
  • Work closely with Management as required, generating and implementing new initiatives for added value 
  • Providing direction and formulating strategy to the CTP Claims ‎Consultants along with conducting claim assessments, audits and file reviews 
  • Ensuring that key initiatives, strategies and directives contained in the business plan are delivered to team members in a clear and positive manner 

The successful candidate will possess: 

  • Previous experience within a CTP Claims environment 
  • Ability to read & understand & apply legislation & guidelines to work practices 
  • Strong communication and analytical skills 
  • A positive attitude towards change and the ability to communicate directives and strategies in an affirmative manner 
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement
