We are seeking someone with a passion for boating, customer experience and insurance to join our NSW Sales team on a Permanent basis, where you will be able to demonstrate your boating knowledge, expand on your existing relationships and enjoy the benefits of working with Australia's Largest Pleasure craft Insurer, Club Marine.

With over 50 year's history, Club Marine has long been part of the Australian boating scene and is regarded as Australia's premier marine Pleasure craft insurer. Club Marine is also a member of the global Allianz Group, which provides employees with excellent benefits and development opportunities.

Successful applicants will manage a portfolio of dealer agents or insurance brokers and grow the portfolio through new business development and retention of existing clients. You will develop maintain and strengthen relationships to contribute to Club Marine's national growth objectives.

Your skillset will enable you to develop strategic business plans for existing clients and identify and execute new business opportunities. You will also represent Club Marine at events such as Boat Shows and other sponsored events, including on water activities.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Boating Industry experience and knowledge (Boat broking, dealership, sales & services roles) highly desirable.
  • Previous sales experience
  • Previous experience dealing with insurance brokers or boat dealers in the General Insurance market is highly desirable
  • Experience in the insurance or marine industry (e.g. in a underwriting, sales, claims role) will be highly regarded
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Strategic selling and presentation skills
