An exciting opportunity now exists within our Operations division for an experienced Senior Claims Service Consultant to join our team. We are seeking a customer service professional for this role, who will bring strong communication and demonstrated dispute resolution skills to enhance our Customer Care Team, in the delivery of service to our customers in their ‘moment of truth.' 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing workflows and maximising achievement of key performance targets 
  • Ensuring all matters are handled within legislative requirements and in line with internal policies/procedures 
  • Review and completion of Motor and Property denials 
  • Management of complaints 
  • Liaising with Dispute Resolution Team and referral of matters to Internal Dispute Resolution (Inc. Complaint Handling Register) 
  • Data input into registers – Denial/Complaint 
  • Managing calls through the FOS Complaint Line 
  • Maintaining strong dispute resolution skills and managing difficult conversations 

To be successful, you will have: 

  • Claims experience, ideally Property and Motor claims‎, however general insurance experience will be considered 
  • A technical skill-set, including experience working with policy wordings 
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment ‎ 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong dispute resolution skills
