We are currently recruiting for a Dispute Resolution Officer to join the Melbourne team. The main objective of the role will be to deliver the highest quality of dispute resolution service in consultation with stakeholders in order to achieve quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

· Manage a portfolio of cases of disputed decisions by conducting pre-conciliation analyses and preparing for conciliation conferences
· Proactively engage with claim staff, employers, the ACCS, injured workers and their representatives to develop and examine options for resolution
· Representing Allianz at conciliation conferences in a professional and considerate manner
· Resolve disputes in a fair and economical manner for all parties involved
· Effectively communicating conciliation outcomes and actions within specified timeframes

Essential Skills:
· Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Technical Manager, Eligibility Officer or above essential
· You will have a Tertiary qualification in Law (desirable)
· An understanding of the Alternative Dispute Resolution methodology
· Strong experience in claims management in the workers compensation scheme in particular Case Management, Eligibility or Technical Management.
· Strong working knowledge of Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013, medical terminology and the WorkCover scheme
· Novus & Action (desirable)
· Strong organisational, stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills both up and down the management structure
· Exceptional time management skills
