We currently have a number of exciting full-time opportunities for suitable experienced and skilled Underwriters to join our Project 'Accelerate' team. Our global business has identified a number of key project deliverables to support our business' commitment to provide a high level of customer service.  As a result, a number of Underwriter roles are immediately required to further analyse and implement necessary remediation actions within our Policy Services function over the next twelve months.

Reporting through to the divisional Senior Manager, this high calibre project team will be responsible for completing a wide range of reform/ remediation project outcomes. Working together with the Policy Services managers and consultants, your individual skills and experience will be matched to the most appropriate project deliverables. This project team is being created to ensure our Policy Services function continue to provide market leading underwriting and policy delivery to our Broker & Agent partners nationally across both Domestic and Commercial Lines.

Key duties include:

  • Delivery of a high standard of project outcomes to internal and external stakeholders in a fast paced environment
  • Providing underwriting expertise on reviewing and updating processes such as quotations, cover notes, new business, endorsements and renewals
  • Ensuring that work is processed in a timely manner to meet key project targets
  • Ensuring work is accurate and underwriting discipline and procedures are being followed

The successful candidates will ideally have:

  • Strong Underwriting experience required
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Strong data analysis experience and Excel skills (including creating macros)
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to work in a project team environment under tight time frames/ deadlines
  • Experience in writing process guides and creating reports
