Policy Services delivers a market leading customer experience by providing expert, professional underwriting and policy service for Direct customers, Brokers and Agents, Financial Institutions, Motor Dealers and other business partners. This involves providing professional, efficient underwriting service, processing support and credit management to Allianz business partners and their customers. Our three centres deliver these services for Personal lines, Commercial lines and CTP products.

We are currently seeking a Senior Credit Consultant to join our team in Melbourne on a fourteen month contract. In this ‎role, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Credit actions to deliver on our 5x5 Credit goals as well as acting in a 2IC capacity to the Credit Operations Manager in relations to tasks such as:

  • Ongoing management, coaching and training for the offshore Team Managers
  • Ongoing KPI management of the offshore team
  • Liaising with Allianz General Managers across the business in order to foster positive Stakeholder Relationships and provide on-going updates on performance measures and service delivery
  • Delegated authority for management of the Allianz Credit Team in instances when the Credit Operations Manager is on leave etc

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous experience liaising with and managing relationships with senior level leaders from different areas of the business
  • Previous experience providing coaching, mentoring and training to remote employees
  • Demonstrated previous experience in Credit Control
  • Experience in administration, daily receipting, reconciliation, cash ‎‎allocation ‎and payments
  • Strong customer focus and a commitment to meeting and ‎exceeding ‎‎expectations
  • Advanced Excel skills will be highly regarded
  • A basic knowledge of accounting principles and knowledge of General ‎‎Insurance is desirable
