Allianz Victoria Managed Fund is an agent for the Victorian WorkCover regulator, WorkSafe and manages a wide range of workers compensation claims.

Our Melbourne Commercial Claims team is seeking an experienced and ‘hands on' professional who wants to take the next step in their development. The purpose of this newly created role is to promote early return to work management strategies with our workers and our employers to ensure that not only is RTW achieved but it is sustained. This position suits a strong influencer and relationship builder who can work with a range of internal and external stakeholders and be a key member of the Commercial Team.

  • Proven case management
  • Ability to obtain early return to work outcomes
  • Return to work focus and an ability to influence providers and treating practitioners to achieve return to work outcomes
  • Ideally WorkSafe or TAC Training
  • Ability to contribute to a positive working environment and team culture
  • Strong leadership abilities in coaching and mentoring
  • Flexible approach to claims management strategies
  • Proven ability to break down return to work barriers

The successful candidate will be required to apply a mobile approach to claims management and return to work. You will be required to complete face to face meetings with key claim stakeholders to assist in facilitating early and sustainable return to work outcomes.  You will also work closely with the claims management team to ensure return to work strategies are executed to support the injured worker and employer through the return to work process.
