Customer Advisor- Property Claims | Flexible locations

Are you looking to take the next step in your career by sharing your insurance expertise to coach and support Property consultants to deliver a great customer experience? 

We're seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our National Property Team as a Customer Advisor

Building on the success of the Property Claims department, we have an opportunity for someone to join our expanding team. This opportunity will allow the successful candidate to apply their exceptional customer service skills to drive claims to resolution.

As a Customer Advisor you will also be responsible for empowering our Property Consultants with their decision-making, coaching for improvement and ultimately championing our Customer First philosophy in your day to day activities.

What you should expect

The role will provide you with a significant level of autonomy and in this we are seeking those with a proactive approach to their work.  You will be working with a team of dedicated Customer Advisors that aim to improve outcomes and processes to allow the continual development of our Property claims staff and enhance the overall experience for our Customers.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Manage internal and external customer relationships
  • Anticipate and provide solutions to our customer's needs
  • Manage internal and external customer relationships
  • Review claims through different avenues and report on required improvements
  • Monitor quality of work reflected within the claim, capturing all necessary details
  • Understand and interpret Allianz policies and procedures

Important to your success

You will bring an ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders across our business divisions. You are known for your strong customer focused solutions.  In addition, you will be valued for:

  • Extensive experience in claims handling, managing core and/or complex Property claims
  • A passion for customer service including effective management of Internal and External Stakeholders
  • Prior experience in coaching others for success
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills
  • ANZIIF/Industry equivalent qualifications (desirable)
  • Possess knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act, Insurance & Brokers Act, ASIC Debt Collection Guidelines and the Code of Practice,
