Claims Technical Specialist -Social Media | Flexible location

We're seeking a Customer Advisor to join our Resolution & Customer Experience Team and will consider both office and home-based applicants

Building on the development and success of the Claims department, we have new opportunity for someone to join this dynamic team. This opportunity also allows the successful candidate to apply exceptional customer service skills with a desire to ensure our company remains innovative.

As a Customer Advisor you will ensure adherence to Compliance procedures, Allianz internal policy/process and relevant legislation.

The role will provide you with a significant level of autonomy and in this we are seeking those with a proactive approach to their work.  You will be working within a small team of dedicated Customer Advisors that aim to improve outcomes and processes to allow the continual development of staff and enhance the experience for our Customers.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Ensure adherence to Compliance procedures, Allianz internal policy/process and relevant legislation
  • Manage internal and external customer relationships
  • Anticipate and provide solutions to our customer's needs
  • Review claims through different avenues and reporting on required improvements
  • Monitor quality of work reflected within the claim, capturing all necessary details
  • Work within the Social Media space providing high levels of customer support and service

Important to your success

You will bring an ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders across our business divisions. You are known for your strong analytical skills and business focused solutions.  In addition, you will be valued for;

  • Extensive technical experience in claims handling, managing core and/or complex claims
  • Senior Consultant experience in Motor is essential, Property cross skilled is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Effective time management skills
  • Effective management of Internal and External Customers
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • ANZIIF/Industry equivalent qualifications (desirable)
  • Possess knowledge of the Insurance Contracts Act, Insurance & Brokers Act, ASIC Debt Collection Guidelines and the Code of Practice,
