Project Officer – Personal Injury | VIC – Melbourne (4-month contract)

Do you want to work in a high-trust culture where you'll feel empowered to make decisions that result in impact?

We are looking for a Project Officer who will be reporting into the Entitlement and Policy team in Workers Compensation. This temporary opportunity will focus on supporting a small project team perform a quality review and processing of 'Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings' (PIAWE) based on a set criteria and work practice.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Confirming the accuracy of a PIAWE calculator
  • Updating ACCTion with the PIAWE amount
  • Assessing weekly compensation entitlements prior to requesting payments
  • Connecting with customers 
  • Remedying actions from reviews

Important to your success:

  • Case management experience within the insurance field with knowledge of 'Pre-Injury'
  • Average Weekly Earnings, step-downs, superannuation and weekly compensation entitlements
  • ACCTion and Novus experience
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-player attitude
  • An aptitude for working within a dynamic, fast paced and challenging environment
