We have an opportunity within our Commercial Division Line 1 team.  Reporting into the Senior Risk & Compliance Manager, the Risk & Compliance Analyst with a Compliance focus is responsible for supporting the business in implementing an effective Line 1 compliance plan across the Commercial Division. As a genuine partner to the business, the role plays a pivotal part in advising management to ensure operational compliance obligations are appropriately identified, assessed and managed by business.

You'll be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Assisting in developing relationships with internal stakeholders and increase awareness of regulatory and compliance obligations.
  • Contribute to the strengthening of governance and the compliance framework. Support the implementation and monitoring of the compliance plans.
  • Support the implementation and promotion of corporate compliance and policies.
  • Support the development of business solutions for incoming regulatory changes.
  • Contribute to the timely and accurate reporting of compliance breaches.

Important to your success:

  • Experience in a compliance or quality assuranced focused role within a complex, matrixed financial services organisation.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision-making.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
