Are you looking to dig deep into data and for the opportunity to turn data into an outstanding customer experience.?

Reporting to our Operations Shared Services Manager, within our Customer Services division, the Senior Performance Analyst will provide operational reporting, dashboarding and analytics in our claims functions to support decision making that will benefit our customer experience and to assist the achievement of business objectives. You'll drive positive outcomes for our customers by using data, insights and feedback to shape and share commercial insights with business leaders.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Using data to identify high performance, working closely with the management team to understand business drivers and the improvement required to uplift performance across the business.
  • Reviewing analysis and reporting on KPIs across customer services and their key contributors in all claims units and distribution streams, including variance to norm/budget/forecast, highlighting key trends and potential actions.
  • Providing relevant reports to managers on an agreed timeframe.
  • Establishing relationships with key stakeholders from within Customer Services resulting in all requests for reporting to come via a designated area to eliminate localised 'ad-hoc' reporting.
  • Assisting in the development of monitoring and control plans for changed processes and procedures to track benefit.
  • Assisting in the planning process by providing analysis on portfolio and claims trends. 
  • Identifying, from the analysis of work undertaken, new initiatives to improve the quality of reporting and improve the efficiency of the performance management process.

Important to your success:

  • You'll have prior experience executing complex business or data analysis, using business intelligence tools as well as SQL, and ideally gained within a complex, matrixed financial services or general insurance organisation.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to be able to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions,
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making and articulating business needs into data analysis plans
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven capability to lead change through the initiation and promotion of business transformation, leveraging effective process, collaboration and communication to foster commitment and participation.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
