We have an opportunity within our Personal Injury Division Line 1 team.  Reporting into the Senior Compliance Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to assist in the development of the reporting framework across the division partnering with the risk management, compliance and assurance teams.  You'll be engaging in assurance practices that will identify areas for improvement and a clear view of the divisional incident and control environment.

You'll be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Assisting in developing and embedding the risk & compliance reporting framework that is fit for purpose.
  • Reporting on findings to relevant internal stakeholders, including highlighting areas of best practice.
    • Delivering timely and accurate reporting including development and analysis of Key Risk Indicators and Risk Dashboards for Incidents, Issues and Complaints.
    • Driving the business towards Breach/Incident analysis and rectification, and evidently contribute to the Risk Culture through positive risk behaviours relative to the Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Management Framework.
    • Collaborating with the wider Risk and Compliance team, including providing insights into ongoing reporting in areas such as risks and incidences.
    • Establishing and cascading guidance and education across the division.

Important to your success:

  • Experience in a risk, compliance or assurance focused role within a complex, matrixed financial services organisation.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision-making.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
