Due to our continued investment in risk and business growth due to acquisition we have a newly created role available in our corporate risk & compliance team.  The primary purpose of this Line 2 role is to support Allianz in identifying, understanding and effectively managing its risk through advisory services. Where necessary to execute risk assessment, monitoring and reporting activities, as well as to challenge, review and validate the effectiveness of controls in place for business unit management of risk.

You'll be responsible for: 

  • Supporting the analysis of risk information to provide meaningful insight and advice. Supporting and driving regular risk assessment processes, including the preparation and collation of core risk management and framework activities and other workshop or presentation materials.
  • Supporting and facilitating the recording and analysis of root cause and trends in relation to incidents, near misses, operational loss events.
  • Assisting in the quarterly and annual risk management declaration processes and assist in drawing insights and conclusions from business responses.
  • Providing input to framework documents and policies and supporting on control design and co-ordinate ad-hoc risk workshops as required.

Important to your success: 

  • Experience in risk management / compliance / internal audit / quality management / process design. 
  • Experience in a complex, matrixed insurance / financial services / corporate / consulting organisation.
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and has the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies within information quickly.
  • A high standard of inductive reasoning, with demonstrated experience in applying analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
