About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Control Specialist to join our team permanently. The primary purpose of the role is to provide our Consumer business lines with subject matter expertise in the design and implementation of internal controls. The role location is flexible and we would consider candidates from either Brisbane, Sydney or Adelaide.  

Important to your success:

  • Experience working with business stakeholders to understand and document detailed end-to-end operating processes
  • The ability to champion a consistent, high quality standard of work-product and ensure cross divisional synergies or gaps are identified and managed
  • Experience working with various business lines to implement new controls and/ or control improvements until it forms part of the BAU operating model
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and refining processes and controls as and when changes to the business operating environment occur, including amendments to products, changes within the IT environment as well as organisational and regulatory change
  • The ability to liaise with and consider the impacts to a broad stakeholder group and to provide key business representatives with updates of activities underway and planned
