Case Manager - Workers Compensation   | WA - Perth

You'll be directly improving our customer's lives and well-being. You'll deal with people experiencing challenging times, but your job is to deliver a positive customer experience for them - and this is what makes it highly rewarding. As someone who builds excellent relationships, you'll help individuals, engaging with them and their workplace on the steps involved in their claim. Along the way, you'll educate our customers on what will happen at every stage and support them with anything they will need to know about their claim.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and improving technical knowledge across all facets of claims management.
  • Keep up to date with legislative amendments and their practical application.
  • Proactively manage claims within delegated authority level to achieve the most cost effective outcome within the framework of the legislation, identifying and managing return to work barriers on individual claims.
  • Ensure customer service standards are maintained taken for prompt resolution of enquiries.

Important to your success:

  • An energetic and motivated approach to managing a demanding portfolio
  • Case management experience in Workers Compensation (ideally front-end / Corporate claims) is desired however not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage your time and prioritise work tasks effectively
  • Superior customer service and communication skills
  • Advanced PC skills

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Case Manager who is looking to develop by taking on a key challenging portfolio in our Perth Team.  The successful applicant will manage their own portfolio of claims including return to work and medical expense management. This vital member of the team will demonstrate a professional approach and ability to build strong customer relationships with key stakeholders' including employers, medical professionals and legal professionals.
