CTP Claims Consultant | QLD – Brisbane

As a Claims Consultant, you will be building effective working relationships with a variety of key ‎‎stakeholders, including injured claimants and/or their lawyers, Investigators and Allied Heath Professionals.

You will be part of a fast paced environment, reviewing treatment requests and organising investigations into claims ‎with a focus on proactive claims management to settlement.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Manage your own CTP claims portfolio from lodgement to finalisation
  • Build effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders, including injured claimants and/or their lawyers, rehabilitation advisors and medical professionals, in order to drive successful rehabilitation and return to work outcomes
  • Review treatment requests and organise investigations into claims with a focus on proactive claims management
  • Make settlement offers, attend informal and settlement conferences to progress claims towards finalisation
  • Conduct settlement conferences, if required
  • Attend conferences with counsel, expert witnesses and lawyers
  • Attend Mediations and Trials

Important to your success:

  • Proven para-legal personal injury experience (desirable) 
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Time management skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment
  • Skills to manage a targets driven case load
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned ‎tasks
  • Work in a team environment
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Availability to attend an Assessment Centre the week of the 2nd of March
  • Availability to start on the 3rd of April or prior
