Due to our continued focus Allianz Australia's governance, conduct and culture we have an important 6 - 12 month contract available.  Reporting into the Senior Manager, Governance & Policy your unique value add is to provide specialist advice and input into the design and implementation and assessment of governance frameworks, including the conduct risk framework to improve governance and health of the culture of Allianz Australia. 

You will provide specialist advice on the design, implementation and assessment of organisation's governance and conduct to ensure alignment between strategy, policies, frameworks, forums and processes to support good governance and conduct, effective decision making and a healthy culture. The role will also support the efficient and effective operation of Management Committees, the Executive Accountability Regime roll-out and the development of the conduct risk framework.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting the design, implementation and assessment governance frameworks to strengthen the organisation's system of governance, improve decision making and the health of Allianz Australia's culture.
  • Implementation of accountabilities frameworks i.e.  BEAR / EAR.
  • Support the development of the conduct risk framework - to help support the way we identify track and assess conduct outcomes through products, processes, systems and people.
  • Support an enterprise approach to utilize customer data, the voice of the customer to inform conduct metrics and protocols.
  • Document and maintain Committee Charters to support the Chair and Members of those Committees.

Important to your success:

  • Minimum 5 years conduct risk, regulatory, legal, compliance, governance customer advocacy or customer outcomes experience within Financial Services, ideally General Insurance.
  • Commercial and business acumen, analytical capabilities and the ability to think strategically and implement practically towards high quality execution. 
  • Extensive experience working on organisational wide projects ideally in a risk, governance or regulatory engagement
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to independently manage and influence internal and external relationships
  • Tertiary qualification is highly desired (Legal, Business or Commerce will be viewed favourably)
