This role sits within our Technical Division which is responsible for pricing, portfolio management, reinsurance and underwriting services. We drive the development and embedment of the product and pricing frameworks for Allianz's General Insurance portfolios.

The Motor Portfolio Analyst is responsible for ongoing monitoring of our portfolio and market environment, and developing actionable insights that help drive decision-making and business outcomes.  The role also supports the execution of the agreed Product Strategy which will deliver sustainable, customer-centric outcomes across the Allianz Automotive & Mobility products and related agencies.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Monitor portfolio performance across agreed metrics (both quantitative & qualitative) and communicate actionable insights & trends;
  • Identify opportunities to enhance our portfolio monitoring & analysis capabilities within Allianz;
  • Undertake competitor monitoring and market research to identify potential opportunities and threats for our business;
  • Drive execution of delegated projects and tasks, collaborating with IT, Operations and other departments where appropriate to do so;
  • Support the development of Learning & Development tools and materials that enhance knowledge within the Fleet Underwriting community;
  • Ensure adherence to product and pricing governance frameworks.

Important to your success:

  • You will have experience in collating information from a variety of sources, managing and manipulating data, and communicating the results in a confident manner;
  • You will be confident in engaging with stakeholders in a corporate environment, developing professional relationships and asking for assistance from third parties when required;
  • You will be detail-oriented and analytical in your approach with a natural talent for interrogation of data and documentation;
  • You will be a results-focused and outcome-oriented person who can use their initiative when required;
  • You will be passionate about making a difference for the end customer in a fast-moving environment.
