Due to our continued investment into the uplift of Allianz Australia's Risk & Compliance culture we have an important 6 month contract available.  Reporting into the National Risk and Compliance Manager (RCM) this position is the key point of contact for issues relating to compliance and risk management for our Corporate Governance and Conduct division.  Your role will be to assist in the implementation and execution of the risk and compliance management framework.  As a genuine partner to the business the role plays a pivotal part in advising the business to ensure operational and compliance risks are appropriately identified, assessed and monitored.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Work with the RCM to implement and monitor internal quality and risk controls and manage key business risk areas to ensure compliance with required legislative      controls, including management responses to audit
  • Assist with maintaining the documentation of the internal control framework that      aligns to each business within the Corporate Governance and Conduct division
  • Supporting the RCM in providing guidance and oversight to the business on issues and      incidents
  • Providing administration support and analysis to the RCM

Important to your success:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Legal disciplines with 2-3 years post graduate experience within a complex corporate organisation
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to      independently manage and influence internal and external relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with experience in data analysis and      interpretation
  • Proficiency in Excel and database management
  • Experience in governance or insurance advantageous
