We're seeking a State Manager to lead our Brisbane-based Queensland operation, leading a team of high-achieving professionals. Hunter Premium Funding, part of the Allianz Australia Group, are one of the largest, most experienced premium funding companies operating in Australia and New Zealand. Our team of over 60 skilled industry experts is located throughout Australia and New Zealand to ensure we are there to meet our customers' needs.

What you should expect

This role will report into the Northern Regional Manager and play a key role in developing maintaining and growing the existing profitable portfolio, managing the State budget and planning requirements and overseeing sales staff performance to ensure sustainable, profitable growth and customer satisfaction utilising a strategic selling approach.

It will be your responsibility to:

  • Develop and implement business plans while identifying industry trends and implementing appropriate strategies to strengthen Hunter's position.
  • Manage strategic selling behaviours across the State business and regularly review sales action plans with sales staff.
  • Structure effective & efficient distribution solutions via the sales team.
  • Contribute towards achieving/improving Hunter NPS result.
  • Rollout Hunter initiatives and products in accordance with business requirements including cascading to direct reports.
  • Manage staff understanding of One Allianz culture & business.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are adhered to 100% of the time. Immediately report any breach of compliance standards along with a draft resolution plan to management.

  • You will be a client-focused and results-oriented individual with an in-depth understanding of the premium funding market;
  • You will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the legal and recoveries process in relation to the premium funding industry;
  • You will be a leader who leads by example, develops capability within the existing team and drives change and innovation.
  • Utilising your strategic mindset and market-driven analysis, you will be focused on achieving the State's and personal KPIs.
