You'll be responsible for:

  • Onboarding and transitioning new self-insurance clients using a project management approach.
  • Acting as a technical expert of Self-Insurance whilst working with the Workers Compensation management team to develop, implement, and monitor the strategic plan to meet and exceed requirements and KPI's.
  • Working with the distribution and client services team to develop and support the self insurance go to market strategy including; input to proposals, tenders and market presentations.
  • Coordinating and managing all internal stakeholders to ensure the delivery of services and ensuring strategies are in place to meet and exceed KPIs.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Finance and Claims Teams, Employers, Brokers and Regulators.
  • Development and oversight of client reporting, regulatory data submissions with contribution to executive review routines as defined by client specifications.

You will bring an ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders across our business divisions. You are known for your strong analytical skills and business focused solutions.  In addition you will be valued for

  • Your extensive Workers Compensation claims experience with either a technical or self-insurance focus
  • Your deep understanding of  Workers Compensation Legislation and Regulations
  • Knowledge of self insurance licensing requirements is desirable
  • Excellent time management, resilience and agility when changes occur
  • A mindset which is supportive and allows you to ‘walk in our customer's shoes'
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching and developing teams.
  • Tertiary qualification in legal or an Allied Health discipline will be highly regarded but not essential
