We have an exciting opportunity for an Automotive and Mobility Specialist to join our Allianz Direct business Personal lines team, the team sits within our Retail Distribution division. Our direct insurance business markets consumer insurance products (Home, Motor, CTP, Life, Travel and Small Business) directly to customers through digital and contact centre channels. This role will commence as a 12 mth contract. 

As a Automotive and Mobility Specialist you will work with stakeholders across the business to sustainably grow the rate of acquisition for new customers, identifying and delivering customer focused enhancements and ensure that all activities contribute to business improvement.

Reporting to the Manager, Automotive and Mobility Direct, you will contribute to the growth, profitability and retention of the Direct Personal Lines business unit by:

  • Contributing to business initiatives and projects that deliver sustainable growth 
  • Coordinating business improvement initiatives and projects
  • Developing and maintaining external and internal business relationships with a variety of stakeholders including Contact Centres, Marketing, Digital, Product and IT
  • Working closely with Marketing to understand performance and maximise  business growth
  • Ensuring the consistent delivery of business as usual activities, including systems, management reporting and general business operations
  • Assist in management of compliance related activities and system stability

We're looking for somebody with:

  • Experience in the insurance industry preferred, although banking, financial services or other highly regulated industry experience will be considered   
  • Good understanding of personal insurance products / experience in a direct to consumer business within Insurance/Financial Services 
  • Strong customer focus /mindset - could consider prior experience working in a senior role in contact centre / customer services in insurance industry 
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management experience given the  role will require you to work closely with a number of different areas of the business.  
  • Sound online and offline marketing experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry
  • Good project management / cordination experience, demonstrating strong organisational skills to facilitate results driven activity
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities
  • High level of written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of systems and technology, particularly in relation to digital business
  • Knowledge of relevant product, guidelines and legislation and project management skills are desirable
  • Strong collaborative team player
