Recovery Assistant

We are currently seeking multiple Recovery Assistants to join our National Recoveries Unit based in Sydney CBD for a start date of 18 November 2019. This is an excellent entry level position for candidates who can display diligence in their work, have great attention to detail and who can work collaboratively as part of a team. Our Recovery Assistants play an integral role in the team by supporting the National Recoveries Unit to promptly identify Third Party information in order to maximise recovery potential. Our Recovery Assistants issue key documentation to support generating recovery income as well as supporting the prompt receipting of our recovery payments.

What you should expect?

  • Issue key correspondence and make out-bound calls to source Third Party information to support generating recovery income
  • Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external business stakeholders
  • Manage third party payments as well as reconciliation of service provider performance
  • Participate in process improvements including maximising recoverable amounts and reduction of recovery cycle time
  • Reporting support on a daily and ad hoc basis
  • General administrative support across the National Recoveries Unit

Important to your success:

  • You will be known for your customer focused approach and personable style with the ability to communicate effectively
  • You will have prior experience in a customer service or administration
  • Exposure to the insurance industry or debt recovery experience (desirable)
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities with the ability to problem solve
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and have the ability to work autonomously as well as form part of a dedicated team
