Senior Analyst & Strategy Execution

We're seeking a Senior Analyst & Strategy Execution, in our Workers Compensation Division based in our Sydney office.

This is a newly created role and reporting in to the Senior Portfolio Director will be responsible for supporting strategy development, design and planning through to execution. You will lead business analysis and solutions as well as drive implementation activities.

What you should expect

This role is critical for the success of transformation activities and execution of business plans across the  Workers Compensation division.

It will be your responsibility to:

  • Contribute to the development of the overarching Workers Compensation strategy and submissions which will involve producing insights from research, market and customer needs analysis, operational and process deep dives
  • Business analysis activities, workshop design and elicitation, production of business requirements, reviewing solution designs, leveraging a range of tools and documentation for agile, waterfall and business deliveries
  • Lead assigned streams including associated project management activities, resource management to deliver to time, quality, scope on the divisional portfolio
  • Service and operating model analysis to inform designs, technology requirements, process re-engineering, and transition planning
  • Support Director in planning of tasks to deliver Portfolio/project, ensure alignment to Allianz Australia's  and Workers Compensation objectives
  • Financial analysis, scenario and cost-benefit analysis, development of business cases or Board submissions

Important to your success

You will bring an ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders across our business divisions. You are known for your strong analytical skills and business focused solutions.  In addition you will be valued for;

  • Solid Business Analysis experience with demonstrated experience in the financial services sector. Insurance experience, specifically in Workers Compensation is highly desirable
  • Strong data analytical skills to convert complex data into meaningful management information
  • Deep understanding of Financial Analysis and Modelling with the ability to developed comprehensive business cases identifying key business benefits and cost benefit analysis. 
  • Strong Project Management experience will be essential for this role with exposure to business design in complex environments.
  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Commerce, Business, Finance (desirable)
