Allianz Technology are looking to engage a Messaging Administrator, based in our new state-of-the-art ABW offices in North Sydney.

Reporting to the Team Lead, this position is responsible for maintaining messaging and collaboration environments that supports the Allianz production environment, development and test environments. The Messaging Administrator is responsible for delivering high quality, customer focused support and administration. The managing of all day-to-day operational aspects to ensure the availability and quality of the organisation's Messaging environment including Exchange Servers, Domino Mail and Application Servers, Enterprise Vault, Cisco ESA IronPorts, AirWatch and RightFax environments. More specifically testing, implementing, monitoring, access control, security and tuning of Exchange & Domino servers to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issues.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration in large multi-domain environments ideally including 2016, DAG & EWS                          
  • Experience with Domino administration in enterprise environments both email and large scale application support
  • Demonstrated technical skills and experience in supporting of Internet/SMTP mail routing protocols                                                               
  • Knowledge of QUEST migration tools to provide technical support to a migration process from Domino to Exchange.                         
  • Experience with the interaction of Domino/Exchange and Enterprise Vault, RightFax & Cisco IronPorts
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a focus on internal and external customer satisfaction 
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • A knack for problem solving
  • Happy to work independently with the ability to navigate the business and lean on internal resources to find solutions
