Club Marine is Australia's premier Marine Pleasure Craft insurer, and industry partner, and a ‎member of ‎the ‎Global Allianz Group.‎


We are currently seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join our Qld team as a specialist pleasure craft Underwriter. Working in the Qld Branch, you will ‎‎be part of an exciting ‎ team pursuing excellence for our policy holder Members. Along the way, ‎‎you ‎will develop specialist underwriting knowledge for Pleasure craft/, understand boating and boat components from trailer boats through to cruisers and yachts.  You will be required to technically ‎underwrite and rate pleasure craft risks, analyse survey and condition reports and communicate with our intermediary Agents as well as our end customers.


As an Underwriter within Club Marine you will support our Qld Sales team and the wider Club Marine Company to achieve our finance targets.  You will be responsible to maintain quality and compliance by meeting Club Marine's underwriting guidelines.


The ideal person for this role will be flexible in their approach and have a strong focus on Customer Service and strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills.


Your duties will include:


  • Assisting with intermediary partner enquiries and provide response follow-up within agreed ‎‎‎timeframes
  • Quote and Bind, Sunrise queries for Broker New Business policies and renewals
  • Processing of new policies and renewals
  • Management of earned premium and return premium endorsements
  • Assisting other areas of the business unit to achieve agreed targets
  • Adhere to Underwriting guidelines and Legislative and Statutory ‎compliance
