A newly created opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Tax Accountant to join our highly successful Tax team, located at our Sydney CBD office.

Reporting to the Taxation Manager, the role will have responsibility for supporting on the following duties:

  • Preparation of indirect returns (including GST / FSL /  Stamp duty)
  • Monthly tax accounting entries
  • Remitting of  withholding and PAYG taxes including the annual reporting obligations
  • Preparation of income tax returns
  • Research (general taxation issues)

About you:

This is the perfect role for a recent graduate who is passionate about Tax.  We are looking for a results driven individual with a strong work ethic and the following experience and skills:

  • Tertiary education in a finance, business or commerce degree and looking to commence CA / CPA qualification
  • Strong communication and engagement skills
  • Effective at proactively managing your own time and prioritisation
  • Strong attention to detail
