National Manager - Motor Assessing Services

We're seeking a National Manager - Motor Assessing Services based in our Sydney officer. Reporting to the General Manager - Strategic Sourcing, you will lead all assessing operational activity across motor claims. You will lead, coach and drive the development of a culture and structure that mirrors the Allianz people attributes.

What you should expect:

It will be your responsibility to:

  • Manage of all assessing operational activity across motor claims team
  • Monitor and drive the performance of all internal and external assessing service providers and motor related supply chain partners
  • Maintain assessing productivity and control internal and external assessing costs whilst ensuring compliance to relevant codes and legislation.
  • Lead and motivate the in house assessing teams to attract and retain the best talent
  • Drive continuous improvement, set strategic direction and deliver innovation across the motor assessing space.
  • Lead and manage a team through the provision of regular and constructive guidance and feedback, providing support for individual development needs, and positively receiving feedback.

Important to your success:

You will bring an ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders across our business divisions. You are known for your strong analytical skills and business focused solutions.  In addition you will be valued for;

  • Your  strong background and understanding of motor assessing practices with a deep understanding of claims management
  • Your  demonstrated strong leadership background at a senior level with the ability to coach, lead and develop teams.
  • Your understanding of applicable laws, rules, regulations governing claims practices including GI Code of Practice
  • An understanding of supply chain management and procurement practices
