Compliance Analyst

Our Workers Compensation Division is looking for a Compliance Analyst to assist in providing guidance and oversight to the business on regulatory and legislative requirements. This role will report into the Manager, Compliance and Risk and will be a key part of the coordination and reporting on issues identified in Workers Compensation.

This role will suit you if you have experience in Technical Claims or. Workers Compensation with a strong analytical mindset.

What you should expect:

  • Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders and increase awareness of risk management and compliance
  • Management of the Quality Assurance Program for Authorised Provider Claims and Government Services with reporting on results, performance and any remedial action required.
  • Drive change within the businesses and reinforce the importance of compliance and risk in everyday activities whilst identifying opportunity for improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with all contractual and legislative requirements and internal initiatives
  • Provide analysis and identify risk with any aspect of the business contracts or. of the business not performing to the required standard etc. Escalate incidents/breaches to relevant stakeholders
  • Development and maintenance of control and monitoring systems

About you

  • At least 2-3 years' work experience as an analyst, auditor. or. in a risk/compliance role
  • Exposure to Technical Claims in Workers Compensation
  • Strong data analytical skills to convert risk and incident data into meaningful management information
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and influence people at all levels of the organisation and externally
  • Proven record of managing tasks that involve a high level of complexity, detail and quality in prescribed timeframes
  • Demonstrated ability to use analytical tools and software (SAS, excel, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
