A newly created opportunity has arisen for a Customer Experience Designer to join our newly created Customer Advocacy team, located at our Market Street, Sydney CBD office.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Advocacy, this is an unique opportunity to champion the voice of the customer across Allianz, particularly for those customers who are most vulnerable. The role will work across our business to:

  • Design continuous improvement activities that support better customer outcomes, especially for customers experiencing vulnerability
  • Use complaints data to identify and advocate for the remediation of systemic issues
  • Supporting ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Driving an industry-wide approach on key customer advocacy matters (e.g. family violence, mental health)
  • Support reporting and governance requirements

The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in human created design preferably in financial services or essential services.  Previous experience in delivering design outcomes based on human needs is essential.  You will be passionate and proud of this area of work and will possess the following skills:

  • 5-7 years' experience in effective Service Design
  • Complaints management / system experience and exposure working with consumer groups
  • Understanding of consumer affairs and social issues (mental health, family violence, financial hardship, CALD)
  • Experience working on enterprise wide projects
  • Exposure to performance frameworks, culture and change programs
  • Good graphic design skills including advanced PowerPoint
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
