Our direct insurance business markets consumer insurance products (Home, Motor, CTP, Life and Small Business) directly to customers. Our key channels are through digital, ecommerce, CRM, partnerships & contact centres.

Allianz Australia is undergoing a period of significant transformation in response to key market trends (Customer, Technology, Economic and Regulatory). The Small Business portfolio which sits within the Direct Business Unit has been identified as a strategic growth lever for the business and forms a critical part of our new Corporate Strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Small Business Direct, this role is key to support and drive strategic initiatives for the Small Business Insurance portfolio which includes driving effective lead generation, acquisition, customer experience and ecommerce automation. While driving profitable growth through; product development, sales initiatives and marketing activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Head of Small Business Direct to set annual growth plan across marketing, CRM and partnerships.
  • Working with the product team to perform competitor analysis and product improvements.
  • Financial Reporting - Performance reporting on sales, marketing campaigns, SEO & SEM (lead generation).
  • Owning and driving cost effective new business acquisition strategies that deliver growth
  • Stakeholder Management - collaborate effectively with stakeholders internally and externally.  This will involve working closely with our Marketing, Product Management, Legal and IT. Also working closely with our Contact Centre to ensure they are trained, delivering good service and reaching sales targets.

To be considered for this role you will possess:

  • Strong SME or consumer marketing knowledge in driving lead generation & acquisition, Ecommerce platform and product development knowledge / experience.
  • Knowledge of systems and technology, particularly in relation to digital business
  • Knowledge of marketing and digital to deliver successful lead generation and aquisition
  • Strong interpersonal  skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels
  • Ability to plan, implement and manage change effectively
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
