Organisational Change Manager

Allianz Australia is looking to engage an Organisational Change Manager to support the delivery of a large scale business transformation. You will be engaged on an initial 12 month fixed term contract, with possibility of extension based in Sydney CBD. 

About the Role:

Reporting into the Change Management Practice Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and assuring the change management design, execution and embedment of the Conduct and Culture Transformation program. This includes contributing to the program change strategy, sizing and scoping the change effort for program initiatives and gathering change intelligence at an initiative level. You will collaborate with other Change Managers to create consistency and capability in the execution of the Allianz's Change Management methodology.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the key analysis activities including stakeholder analysis, change impact and gap analysis, training needs analysis
  • Develop a change management strategy based on the completed change analysis.
  • Address any potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or. address concerns.
  • Ensure that readiness assessments are conducted.
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans e.g., change leadership plan, communication plan, education and training plan and resistance management plan.
  • Work with the project teams and initiative Change Managers to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Lead and support the creation of the measurement mechanisms to track adoption, utilisation and proficiency of individual changes.
  • Lead and support the relationship with other group-wide specialists e.g. Communications, in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementation.

 About you:

The successful applicant will possess the following skills, attributes and experience: 

  • Certification or demonstrated competency in application of at least one formal Change Management methodology including PCI, Prosci.
  • At least 5 years' experience driving OCM best practice ideally with experience across large scale or complex programs of work 
  • Extensive experience driving and uplifting behavioural and cultural change within prior transformations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills with the ability to navigate and influence diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong personal integrity and commitment to maintain confidentiality and ability to transition seamlessly between strategy and execution as required
  • Previous exposure to Financial Services or experience within a highly regulated yet customer centric environment will be highly regarded
