We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is energetic and self-driven to join the Platform Solutions team as a Senior Business Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will work closely with business stakeholders, our sales partners and technology teams to understand their objectives, document requirements, develop solutions and support the end to end delivery of projects across our Broker & Agency division.

This role is Sydney CBD based, but will require some travel to North Sydney CBD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate and have a well-defined understanding of the business needs
  • Analyse and document business requirements and detailed functional specifications
  • Support the development of the business case, analysing the proposed solution to deliver the desired business outcome and associated project costs
  • Identify business process improvement opportunities
  • Plan, estimate and report on business analysis activities and deliverables
  • Recommend and provide input to decisions made throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review and revise documentation to reflect new information and/or changes to assumptions, including implications for project time, cost, quality and risk
  • Support testing, training and implementation activities to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions

Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience as a Senior Business Analyst working on both business and technology projects
  • Experience in documenting and modelling business processes (current and future state)
  • Knowledge of Agile principles and development practices
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills
  • Ability to influence and resolve problems
  • Outstanding analytical, observation and organisational skills
