In our National Corporate division you will work in our Sydney based team that sells, underwrites and manages Workers' Compensation for our Underwritten Business. 

As a Production Underwriter your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining a portfolio of profitable Workers' Compensation business through allocated intermediaries and/or schemes
  • Ensure new business and renewal targets are met and business written enhances current portfolio and profitability targets
  • Achieve rating targets through regular review and analysis of allocated portfolio.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders ensuring strong working relationships are developed.                                                                                                                                                                                  

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Workers' Compensation industry experience
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in long tail underwriting or claims management would be ideal
  • A strong analytical capability coupled with excellent verbal and written communication is essential
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential
