Broker and Agency is an innovative and highly successful Allianz division with customers in Commercial, Corporate and International buyer groups throughout Australia and New Zealand.

In the role of a National Key Account, you will have the opportunity to develop and drive your career, work with outstanding colleagues from diverse areas of Allianz, and encouraged to bring fresh ideas and thinking to the business. As a National Key Account Manager you will strategically manage business relationships with allocated national and international broker partners, and create and implement business plans to achieve profitable growth. You will work with Allianz key stakeholders, across multiple divisions, to prospect for profitable business and take ownership of key opportunities, including developing insurance products and propositions.

Your relationship building and management skills, coupled with your strong business acumen, and influencing skills, will support and complement a team that is ‎similarly focused on our strategy to achieve profitable growth and the delivery superior service to our customers. ‎

Suitable candidates will be highly motivated, ambitious and ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven knowledge of the general insurance market and insurance brokers
  • Strong relationship building, Account and Portfolio management skills
  • Sound understanding of Insurance financial and KPI reporting metrics
  • Strong presentation, communication and planning skills
  • Strong persuasion, influence and coordination skills - able to work effectively across multiple business units.
  • Strategic selling, including prospecting skills
  • Sound understanding general lines underwriting, risk evaluation and pricing
  • ANZIIF/CIP/NIBA and /or relevant tertiary qualification (not mandatory, but highly regarded)
