Our Liability Claims Unit is responsible for managing claims involving third party material damage, financial loss and personal injury arising from Public and Product Liability or Professional Indemnity policies. These claims are diverse, frequently involving complex legal issues and high net worth.

We have an opportunity for a suitably-qualified professional to join our Non-Personal Injury Claims Team. Reporting to the Non-Personal Injury Claims Manager, you will be a part of a results-driven team with a high performance culture consisting of Senior Claims Service Consultants, Claims Service Consultants and administrative support staff.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of claims in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained with our internal and external customers while building a network of professional relationships
  • Continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders to report on claim developments and potential large losses
  • Using your technical capabilities to thoroughly investigate and assess claims to ensure that appropriate strategies are being implemented and pursued
  • Active communication and negotiation with Legal Service Providers and loss adjusters with a view to achieving the best possible outcome for all stakeholders involved

To be successful in this role you should demonstrate:‎

  • Experience working in an Insurance, Claims or Legal environment will be highly regarded
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer relationship management skills, both over the phone and face-to-face
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
