An opportunity has arisen within our highly successful Workers Compensation Division for a Self Insurance Manager to join our team. As the Self Insurance Manager you will have overall responsibility for Allianz's Self Insurance (SI) offering for the Workers Compensation Division.

Broad responsibilities will include:

  • Establish infrastructure for Self Insurance under Comcare and state based schemes in line with Allianz's Self Insurance strategy
  • Provide market advice on Self Insurance and build Allianz’s brand as a provider of Self Insurance
  • Build and oversee performance of Allianz's Self Insurance portfolio

This role provides broad exposure across the company and will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your customer relationship management, communication and influencing skills through regular interaction with stakeholders.

The ideal applicant will ideally possess the following skills and attributes.

  • Thorough understanding of Self Insurance and Workers Comp   
  • Extensive past experience in working with clients under Self Insurance state and/or Comcare arrangements
  • Highly developed relationship management skills                       
  • Extensive past experience in leading business wide changes and delivering on strategic initiatives
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic and operational plans
  • Change management across business units                   
  • Highly advanced communication skills
