Customer Data Analyst – Sydney CBD – Permanent

As the Customer Data Analyst you will play a key part in ensuring Allianz has the data available to effectively and efficiently identify and respond to customer growth opportunities. You will responsible for creating, maintaining and reporting on customer metrics including managing the availability, access to and quality of the data.   

You will need to have a natural curiosity and passion for finding answers and solutions that drive business outcomes and enjoy working in a small team on a basis of trust and openness.

You will be part of a team charged with getting at better understanding our customers and translating that knowledge into actionable insight and supporting execution of the resultant sales, service and retention activities. It is a team committed to continually striving towards delivering the best insights and knowledge needed to build a highly satisfied customer base and grow our business.

Experience and Skills required for this role:

  • At least 3 years of experience in an Data Management or Business Intelligence role
  • Problem solving skills with willingness to investigate/follow up data integrity issues.
  • Strong SAS/SQL programming skills include SAS Macro.
  • Experience in BI Reporting and data visualisation tools (Tableau experience preferred)
  • Understanding of warehousing and the use of data marts
  • Insurance or Financial Services sector is preferred.
  • Tertiary Degree in Computer Science, Maths, Statistics or related field
