Senior IT Vendor Manager – Sydney CBD – Permanent

  • Brand new role within our IT Division
  • Based in the heart of the Sydney CBD
  • Use your experience in managing the engagement of external vendors

The newly created role of Senior IT Vendor Manager will see you become the single point of contact for all of our external IT Service providers.  This is a Full Time Permanent opportunity and is based in the heart of the Sydney CBD close to public transport.

This role is essential within our IT Division to ensure we maintain a holistic view on external IT Service Delivery including:

  • Managing the portfolio of external IT providers (hardware, software and services)
  • Ensuing the engagement of external providers based on a harmonious process framework
  • Overseeing the strategic aspects for vendor relations
  • Overseeing the external spend and striving for cost reduction
  • Mitigating risks to gain increased value from external providers
  • Measuring service performance (KPIs), managing the strategic importance and reviewing service providers in terms of technology

It is expected that you will possess skills and experience including:

  • 5+ years within a similar role in a large complex organisation
  • Strong knowledge of IT Operating models
  • Strong Process knowledge
  • Project Management skills
  • Financial and Legal knowledge
